We are thrilled to announce that Colton has recently joined Southwest Airlines as an Associate Technology Analyst. Based in American Fork, UT, Colton enjoys the flexibility of working remotely, thanks to Southwest Airlines' tech department being 100% remote. In his role, Colton acts as a project manager, running agile ceremonies, triaging incidents for his team's supported system, and collaborating with QA for regression testing.
Reflecting on his journey, Colton shared on LinkedIn: "The past few weeks I have had some major life changes/accomplishments! On April 26th, I graduated from the Marriott School of Business at BYU with my BS in Information Systems! Fast forward to today, it is my first day as a full-time Southwest Airlines employee. It took all of 10 minutes to realize what I missed since my internship ended. I’m so thankful for everyone in my life that has gotten me this far. The professors, mentors, and friends who helped me. My parents, who encouraged me to push myself and test my limits. Last, but CERTAINLY not least, my beautiful wife, Sarah Pearce, PMP. She has been my biggest supporter and ally as I rode the ups and downs of school and work. I wouldn’t be here without her. I’m stoked for the future!!!!!🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻"

"When I determined what field I wanted to go into, I just looked for any position I could find that would give me that experience. I held jobs throughout my college career that dealt with running agile ceremonies, problem solving, and learning how to be the go-between for customers and technology and NETWORKING!"

"I love to Mountain bike, Road Bike, hike, golf, ski, and play video games! I actually just started streaming on Twitch…sorry that’s not just one."
