Director of IS Placement
Reid Grawe (pronounced GRAW-veee) will mentor you through the recruiting process. His full-time job and focus is to help you “achieve your career dreams.” He joined the Business Career Center in 2006 and enjoys creating relationships with employers, faculty members, and students.
He is a retired Lieutenant Colonel, having served over 25 years as an active duty US Army Officer. He graduated from Brigham Young University in Financial Planning and Counseling and from Syracuse University with an MBA in Operations and Management.
He and his bride, Julie, were married in the Salt Lake Temple 43 years ago, and they’re the parents of six daughters. They have eleven granddaughters and three grandsons. Read Full Story

Shelley Hunter
Shelley Hunter is excited to help guide students and early-career professionals through their career journey. With years of experience in FinTech and digital marketing, Shelley brings a wealth of knowledge to the IS Career Services team. After graduating from BYU with a BS in Information Systems, she spent 11 years as a programmer/analyst at Bank of America and Chevron Information Technology Company. Her expertise in payment processing and credit cards eventually led her to launch her own consumer advocacy and gift card business, which was acquired by Giftcards.com in 2013. Shelley continued in her role even after Giftcards.com was acquired by Blackhawk Network in 2016.
Shelley’s passion lies in helping others achieve their career goals, and she encourages students to “trust the process. Every success and setback leads you to become the person God knows you will be.”
She enjoys spending time with her family, and when she's not busy mentoring students or working, you’ll find her enjoying time on the tennis court or relaxing on a beach, her favorite travel destination.
