Key ResponsibilitiesFinancial Analysis & Underwriting:Underwrite potential real estate acquisitions using advanced Excel models to evaluate cash flows, returns, and investment viability.Conduct comparable property analysis to assess market trends, property values, and investment opportunities.Enhance and automate financial models using advanced Excel formulas and, where applicable, VBA to improve accuracy and efficiency. Market Research & Deal Origination:Perform in-depth market research to identify high-potential properties and support deal sourcing efforts.Analyze market data to inform underwriting assumptions and investment strategies.Transaction Support:Assist in coordinating due diligence, ensuring timely collection and organization of critical documents.Support the closing process by preparing materials and tracking key milestones.Contribute to investor reporting by compiling financial updates and investment memos.Process Optimization:Streamline workflows for data collection and integration into financial models.Assist in creating polished investment memos by integrating Excel data into professional presentations. QualificationsCurrent student or recent graduate in Real Estate, Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field.Strong financial acumen with a solid understanding of real estate underwriting and financial modeling.Proficiency in Excel, including advanced formulas (e.g., VLOOKUP, INDEX-MATCH, PivotTables) and basic VBA knowledge.Experience with comparable property analysis or market research is a plus.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.Eager to learn, collaborative, and driven to make an impact.
