As the Analytics Power BI Development Intern, you will perform data analysis and report development activities, using SQL and Power BI on Azure and Google Cloud data platforms, based on Ingredion’s analytics governance guidelines as well as industry best practices. Your role will be:Demonstrating understanding of Azure tools such as Power BI, Analysis Services, Databricks, Power Apps, etc.Demonstrating understanding of Google Cloud tools such as Big Query, Looker, AI platform, Data catalog, Data Studio, etc.Utilizing above skills to:Build an asset catalog of all enterprise reports in the organization with data lineage.Identify analytics and reporting gaps in current ecosystem.Optimize usage of current Power BI licenses and workspaces.Working closely across the teams and participate in project initiatives, making recommendations and troubleshooting technical issues and refining processes.   Your profile needs these qualifications:Progress towards a master’s degree program in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field.Demonstrated programming skills in Power BI, Python, and SQL.A deep understanding of various tools and features of Power BI including Desktop, Service, Report Builder, and Report Server.Validated ability to build reports and dashboards, analyze data, profile data, perform gap analysis, and build catalog of reporting metadata.Ability to easily understand and debug complex dashboards and reports, and improve performance, accuracy, effectiveness, and aesthetics.Familiarity with Microsoft Azure platform and/or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
